Master cylinder repair kit MAGURA for: BMW R, K, K1

The MAGURA hydraulic brake valve model 288 has been manufactured thousands of times since 1988 and is mainly used as standard equipment in various BMW models.

Starting with the K1 over the R 1100 4-valve Boxer series up to the R1150 series from model year 2002.

For the large amount of motorcycles traveling with the 288 fitting, MAGURA offers a repair kit that includes all parts to completely overhaul the 288 fitting.

After many years and kilometers it is recommended to thoroughly clean the master cylinder and to renew all sealing elements.

The kit includes

* a new piston with seals and piston return spring.

* a piston bellows.

* a container bellows.

* a new seal for the piston mounting screw.

* a suitable silicone brake paste.
