Torsion bar, 1/2", 75 Nm

• enables a fast pre-tightening of wheel bolts with max. 75 NM
• absolutely necessary for wheel mounting on vehicles with composite brake discs, e.g. BMW, Mercedes
• for use with a 1/2" impact wrench
• Due to the design of composite brake discs, the wheel bolts must be tightened in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions when fitting the wheels.

This describes the correct tightening of the wheel bolts in 3 steps. 1:

• 1. apply crosswise up to max. 20 NM with unloaded wheel
• 2. crosswise tightening up to max. 75 NM with unloaded wheel
• 3. tighten crosswise to nominal torque according to manufacturer's specification with loaded wheel.

Failure to observe this can lead to distortion of the entire brake disc.

This often results in brake vibrations or running irregularities and the expensive brake discs have to be replaced.
