The power transmission is much more direct, also thanks to the Polini "Evo-Slider", a friction-minimizing plastic pad for the variator spring, which makes the converter assy easier to shift.
If the scooter engine is not tuned, the variator must simply be mounted with all components. According to Polini, no further tuning is necessary. Of course, due to the newly designed roller tracks, the variator is also a very good choice for tuned vehicles. However, an adjustment of the variator weights to the appropriate power RPM level is necessary then.
