BGM PRO High Quality stainless steel rim MADE IN GERMANY for Vespa
MANUFACTURINGThe BGM stainless steel rim is produced in Germany by a renowned and certified company that also manufactures for Volkswagen and BMW.
The rims are individually `pressed` in a complex process. The sheet metal is not deep-drawn but gently and rotationally symmetrically formed with high precision.
The result is a rim that even Enrico Piaggio could not have made better
.
The high-strength rim is characterised by perfect concentricity, absolute freedom from rust and a reinforced rim flange. This is achieved by folding the rim edge and thus doubling the material.
DURABLE
This makes the rim almost indestructible, as Martin `sticky` Round impressively proved in a scooter race (the Nomad Rally, a kind of Dakar Rally) through the Moroccan desert in 2017
.
SUSTAINABLE
The rim does not have welded studs (as with conventional rims), but is bolted on with enclosed special nuts in stainless steel
.
Their square profile locks into the rim and ensures perfect anti-twist protection. The bolts are of course also available individually as spare parts. The rim has an almost unlimited service life due to its rust-free design and the replaceable bolts.
ADVANTAGES
Tightening torque of the rim nuts 21Nm.
