The design, dimensions and mounts on both sides of the throttle cable are based on the original. However, the throttle cable offered here has an inner PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sliding sleeve. The high self-lubricating properties of the PTFE material enable a long-lasting, very smooth gliding process without the need for additional lubrication.
Never lubricate PTFE slides afterwards, as lubricants cause the sliding material to swell and thus have the exact opposite effect.
