Simple to use – Hard to crack
The Grip-Lock is a novel system to protect your motorcycle from theft. It is attached to the handlebar of the motorcycle and blocks the throttle grip and brake lever. Attaching and removing the Grip-Lock takes less than 10 seconds.
Grip-Lock, clearly visible on the handlebar, deters potential thieves. Grip-Lock is cleaner and easier to use than cumbersome and dirty brake disc locks or chains. Grip-Lock uses four bars of hardened steel inside, but is absolutely rustproof thanks to the fibre-reinforced nylon sheathing.
Either way it cannot be forgotten, so there is no risk of damage to the motorcycle from accidental starting. Weighing only 330 grams and measuring 15 x 4.5 x 5 cm, the Grip-Lock fits in any storage compartment.
All Grip-Lock products are developed and manufactured under German management in Auckland, New Zealand. They are optimized for maximum robustness and resist attacks with screwdrivers, hands, lock kits, etc.
In addition, all Grip-Lock components have been subjected to a variety of accelerated aging tests (e.g. UV test, salt vapour test, etc) to ensure that all materials used will withstand long-term outdoor use and will not splatter or yellow.
Resistant materials for maximum safety The BASF special nylon with glass fiber reinforcement used for Grip-Lock is 200% stronger than conventional all-purpose plastic and gives the system special strength and rigidity.
With four spring steel rods encapsulated in a housing, it prevents theft with a Säger or other cutting tools.
The four-regulation mechanism has been developed in accordance with three principles:
• not to crack with conventional lock kits
• very resistant to attacks from drilling
• to ensure maximum durability and uncompromising safety in all conditions
supplied with handle-handle adapter for a secure hold.
Each Grip-Lock comes with three adapters to ensure an optimum fit for all engine types. It fits handles with diameters from 27 to 38 mm and circumferences from 85 to 119 mm. This area covers about 95% of the market. It therefore fits almost all motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, mopeds, quads, trikes and much more. The brake lever lock of the Grip-Lock can be adjusted without tools when open.
