This ensures a heavy-duty, wear-resistant thread with extremely low and constant Gewindereibmoment. In Wiederholverschraubungen thus a higher and constant preload force is achieved with the same tightening torque. At the same time, this leads to better utilization of the yield strength of high-strength screws. The torsional stress is significantly reduced: compared to cut threads, the surface roughness of HELICOIL® plus is up to 90 percent lower.
