MICHELIN Bib Mousse

The puncture-proof alternative to the hose.

MICHELIN Bib Mousse is a foam rubber ring that replaces the hose and corresponds to an air pressure of approx. 0.9 bar when new.

 

MICHELIN Bib Mousse was specially developed for off-road competition (cross, enduro or rally) and is only inserted into MICHELIN tires. We do not recommend installing MICHELIN Bib Mousse in other makes of tires.

 

The MICHELIN Bib Mousse is NHS (Not for Highway Service) marked and therefore not designed for use on public roads. It must not be stored permanently at temperatures above 30 ° C and temperatures above 40 ° C should be avoided in principle.

 

MICHELIN Bib Mousse has a maximum useful life of 6 months from the date of installation and a maximum of 18 months from the date of manufacture. However, this can be greatly reduced with very demanding use.

 

A tube of gel is included in the packaging. It serves to reduce the heat generated by friction between the tire and the Bib Mousse.
