Brembo presents the *Stylema* brake caliper with a contemporary design. It appears to be a small "work of art" and at the same time meets the highest technical standards. The Brembo *Stylema* has a compact design, a remarkably low weight and yet high performance.

Stylema® has improved on previous calipers by reducing the internal spaces filled with brake fluid around the pistons and pads. This accelerates the response behavior. Around seven percent of the weight has been reduced. The rigidity of the system is increased by five millimetres thanks to reduced external dimensions, a reduced height of the brake calliper and shorter mounting bolts. Taking into account the changed arrangement, the in all important components has been redefined.

The outer bridges are now more directly connected to the piston seats. Stylema® cools down extremely quickly thanks to the increased air flow in the immediate vicinity of the pads, because the permeable areas around the pistons have been enlarged and an opening for the air outlet has been created in the center bridge. The idea of reducing mass was the basis for the balanced shape. Every excess gram had to be replaced. The geometric surfaces are characterized by precise and important lines, similar to high-end motorcycles with the new Stylema® brake caliper.

The two raised ribs are both structural and design components that make the product look dynamic and robust and provide an ideal place for the Brembo logo. Thanks to the two edges of the air intake, which is the central element adjoining the upper rib, the design of the brake caliper is even more aggressive and sleek.

Naming

Stylema® is the natural combination of Stilema (Italian for "style elements of the originator") and Style. The "style" inherent in the product is based on speed, performance, pure emotion and technology. They perfectly match the character of the future visionaries
