The steel used for the new EBC VR brake discs is a special stainless steel compound with a higher friction effect than that of conventional heat treated stainless steel brake discs.

They are completely made of stainless steel, heat treated and give the rider optimum hardness. In addition to the weight savings, the cooling of the brake disc is essential.

For optimal cleaning of the brake disc, the braking surface is drilled with a design that also allows for weight savings.

The fewer holes that are present, the better the wet braking behavior and the lower the wear of the brake disk.

The driver benefits from the improved brake feel and response,

as well as the life of the brake disc due to the improved quality. The material is thus wear-resistant and exposed to cracking.
