Brake disc right EBC for: Honda XL

EBC HPSR brake disc, rigid version. MADE IN UK.

The aim in developing this is to improve braking performance over the original brake disc. EBC uses HPSR steel with a low carbon content which has an 18% higher coefficient of friction. This steel is much more resistant to rust than cast steel. In addition, the entire surface is protected with a 3 micron thick zinc coating, which is worn away in the brake pad contact area as soon as the brakes are applied. Only in this area can light flash rust form with longer service life.

The brake discs are drilled in a birdcage design in order to get by with as few holes as possible while at the same time optimising the cleaning of the brake disc from rainwater and brake dust. The fewer the holes, the better the wet braking performance and the lower the wear.
