For over 10 years Athena has invested in the best and most modern technologies for the production of cylinders and their components, which are used not only by OE manufacturers, but also by the best racing teams in the world.

Last but not least, the production of aluminium cylinders is constantly improved thanks to the collaboration with the best Italian universities and to the permanent development requests of the best engine tuners.

Thanks to a flexible production department, Athena is able to react efficiently to different situations (production batches of OE manufacturers, small quantities, construction of a prototype for racing teams).

Athena cylinders are made of high quality aluminium alloys. They are manufactured using the latest technologies and coated with a nickel-silicon alloy. After passing the strict quality controls, all cylinders meet the highest standards of reliability, durability and performance.

Features:

- Special 3D software is capable of generating virtual simulations and mechanical loads

- Aluminium cylinders are cast in steel moulds and manufactured using CNC machines (thousandths of a millimetre tolerances can therefore be guaranteed at all stages of production)

- Revised water channels to increase capacity

- Cylinder liners are made of a special silicone carbide and nickel mixture to ensure the best piston mileage and cylinder durability

- Tested at an internal temperature of approximately 20 degrees, for the best possible inspection of the bores and cylinders

- Cylinder surfaces are perfectly flat to eliminate any fit inaccuracies
