This bushing is located in the variator cover and supports the kickstarter shaft. This bushing is subject to heavy wear and is one of the causes of damage to the kick starter area. The kickstarter may tilt and in extreme cases cause the variomatic cover to break. When replacing the kick starter shaft, this component must not be forgotten.
