The production of these valve drive belts starts with a fabric / rubber mat which is sewn together in the first operation to obtain a roll which is then mounted on the vulcanization mould with a specific tooth profile.

In the course of the following operations, various layers of rubber material and the tension cord are applied and vulcanized together. The tension cord (made of glass fiber) transfers the main tensile load and gives the belt additional stability.

This tension cord is a continuous material that is not joined together and therefore gives the belt its tensile strength.

The seam visible on the inside at one point is therefore not a stability-giving feature.

This belt is supplied with a white Teflon coating on the inside and a reinforced tension cord for longer replacement intervals.
