This label must be affixed to a part of the vehicle in a clearly visible and easily accessible place where it is unlikely to be replaced during normal use, maintenance and repair as well as repairs (e.g. by accident damage).

The information on the label must be clearly legible and permanent and contain the following information, if possible in the same row:

1. Vehicle manufacturer or the trade name
2. The vehicle class including subclass and sub-subclass.
3. The EU type approval number (EC type approval)
4. The vehicle identification number consisting of a structured combination of characters.
5. The parking noise (for vehicles for which a parking noise test is not carried out, the information "...... dB (A)" and "...... kw -1" are to be displayed as "---"
