• The replacement of a stolen vehicle leads to economic loss and long downtimes. The immobilizer can make theft more difficult.
• The HELLA immobilizer is a recognized immobilizer of the KBA *74 / 61*95 / 56*0501*00.

Compatible ignition switches:

• The immobilizer is usable with all ignition switches of the HELLA series 6JB 003 959-0.. (see also accessories) and devices of identical design that are commercially available.

Electronic key:

• The electronic key is based on contactless transponder technology. The transponder (transmitter and receiver unit) has its own battery-free power supply and is permanently integrated in the mechanical key of the starter switch.

Activation of the immobilizer:

• The immobilizer is activated as soon as the mechanical key in the start switch is moved to position "0" (automatically after 5 seconds) or remains there. The immobilizer is activated by disconnecting up to 3 control units relevant to operation, e.g. starter, ignition and fuel pump.

Deactivation of the immobilizer:

• The immobilizer is deactivated by means of a valid mechanical key and a valid electronic key (transponder). The transponder is read as soon as the mechanical key in the start switch has turned on terminal 15. This means that it is necessary to open the mechanical locking system first before the electronic key is checked.

Tamper protection:

• It is not possible to tamper with the immobilizer when the ignition is switched off. The immobilizer is deactivated by closing up to 3 operationally relevant control units, e.g. starter, ignition and fuel pump. An interruption or malfunction of the supply line or other control lines does not deactivate the immobilizer or delete data (e.g. data codes).
