Wilbers linear fork springs
If progressive fork springs are all-rounders and optimal for touring and off-road motorcycles, linear springs are the specialists. Due to the linear behaviourtune the fork well. Ideal e.g. for the race track!
Despite linear fork springs, the air cushion creates a progression towards the end of the suspension travel.
Reduction of friction throughFine grinding, this is how the ZERO friction is created.
The components to be machined, such as our fork springs, are located in the vibratory grinding process together with a specialtuned grinding wheel in a vibrating container, the so-called trough vibrator. The vibrations of the container generate a relative movement between the workpiece and the grinding wheel andlead to a smoothing of the component surface due to the constant rubbing against each other. At the end of the processing a fine, shiny surface is obtained. Especially for our fork springs meansthis reduction of surface roughness a minimization of friction = ZERO friction.
