Polini variator from the Maxi Hi-Speed series suitable for Yamaha X-Max 125, Tech Max 125 Euro 5 vehicles built from year 2021 and up.
The Polini Maxi Hi-Speed variator is one of the most powerful in the maxi scooter range. Attention was paid here to the design of the polished roller tracks, which use the existing power band of the engine more optimally than the original variator. This means that the ratio of the variator changes at a torque more favourable speed range. This results in increased acceleration and slightly more top speed.
The Polini variator can also be seen in terms of build quality and reliability. A sealed plain bearing with cleanly processed bearing bush significantly reduces the friction values and the dirt load in the sliding movement. Perfect switching behaviour and longevity through reduced wear!
Compared to the original spring 18% harder back pressure spring provides a higher engine speed when starting.
The included 19x17mm - 8.2g variator rollers have a coating of nylon and aramid fibres.
Supplied as shown on the product picture with variator, pulley, sliders, a set of variator roller weights, variator sleeve and variator spring. Instructions are also included.
