With the Multivar MHR, Malossi offers a version of the Overrange variator for Minarelli engines with a 13 mm crankshaft stub, which can be ridden with the standard rear converter unit. According to the manufacturer, no modifications need to be made in order to fit the Racing Vario. The use of 16x13 weights allows a narrower design, which allows the belt to run cleanly even in the original torque converter.
The V-belt pulley and variator are perfectly matched. The variator diameter is 99.5mm, just like the Overrage, and therefore allows a larger adjustment range, which enables a longer speed range, especially for more powerful and higher revving engines. Absolutely race-ready variator in the usual high Malossi quality.
The scope of delivery includes counter-pressure spring, sleeve, variator, 2 sets of weights 16x13 in 3.9g and 4.7g as well as a sticker set.
