Complete set of the 12V swiing® ingenious EVO ignition with built-in 60W light coil, suitable for various moped, moped or small motorcycle models with wind-cooled engines such as Sachs 50/2, 50/3, 505/1, 505/2, 505/3 and 506.
Among other things, this electric ignition can be installed on Hercules Prima 2, 3, 4, 5 and GT models.
Advantages of the EVO tuning ignition:
The following special features characterize this ignition:
Mounting instructions:
Clockwise rotating engines: Set the piston to TDC, the marking on the base plate at 11 o'clock (to the left of the swiing logo) must match the marking on the flywheel, this achieves an ignition timing of 2 mm before TDC.Anti-clockwise engines: Set piston to TDC, the marking on the base plate at 13 o'clock (to the right of the swiing logo) must match the marking on the flywheel; this achieves an ignition timing of 2 mm before TDC.Tightening torque flywheel: 37 - 39 Nm (no keyway present)The CDI and ignition coil must be supplied with a good earth (grounding), otherwise they can be damaged within a short time. The lighting system should also be equipped with a 12 V voltage regulator.
Correct pin assignment of the Superseal connector:
Notes:
On Sachs 535 engines, the cast cam on the housing must be ground off so that the ignition can be fitted. On Sachs 50/2 and 50/3 engines, the ignition is only compatible with left-hand models.
Among other things, this electric ignition can be installed on Hercules Prima 2, 3, 4, 5 and GT models.
Advantages of the EVO tuning ignition:
- Always a constant, strong spark
- No more misfires
- one-time adjustment
- Little to no wear and tear
- large adjustment range due to long slots
The following special features characterize this ignition:
- From the factory more flywheel mass than HPI ignitions, thus smoother engine idling (382 grams)
- Finely balanced flywheel for less vibration
- Trigger thread with normal M26x1.5 mm pitch, so normal Bosch/Ducati flywheel pullers can be used
- Easy adjustment of the ignition timing
- the stator was designed for high heat loads, no more failures due to overheating
- optimized ignition curve (adjustment 12° - 14°)
- Light voltage: 12 volts
- Light output: 60 watts
- Ø outer flywheel: 75 mm
- Flywheel cone: ratio 1:5 (standard for Puch & Sachs crankshafts)
- Ø outer stator plate: 90 mm
