The rectifier or regulator changes the AC voltage generated in the alternator into the DC voltage of 12V used in the vehicle electrical system and keeps the voltage within a certain tolerance range. This charges the battery and ensures that light bulbs, for example, do not burn out.
Some models are fitted with 2 different regulators, please check the plug connection before ordering and compare with the picture.
