However, the throttle cable offered here has an inner PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sliding sleeve. The high self-lubricating properties of the PTFE material enable a long-lasting, very smooth gliding process without the need for additional lubrication.
Never lubricate PTFE slides afterwards, as lubricants cause the sliding material to swell and thus have exactly the opposite effect.
