Demolished screws or stud bolts are often very hard to drill out

The precise centering with a graining and the subsequent drilling is usually very difficult

Often the mounting thread is damaged by oblique drilling

As a result, the required holding torque of the thread no longer exists

The bore holes provide a central bore of the torn screws

The component to be released is initially completely disassembled

The torn off screw stub is ground flat

The corresponding center sleeve is inserted into the component to be fastened from behind

The component is fixed again with the still intact screws until the centering sleeve rests flat with the collar

A 4 mm drill is used to drill a base hole into the tapped screw

In doing so, the drill is positively forced into the specially hardened sleeve and thus can not run

If the bottom hole is located in the center, the hole can be drilled with larger drills until a left borer is used

The thread can also be drilled up to the core diameter and subsequently cut
