The original D.I.D - KM500 - chain cutting & riveting tool reliably cuts and rivets your chains and has been specially developed for the workshop for daily use. It therefore holds hundreds of rivets when used correctly.When using a ZJ rivet lock, it is not possible to 'rivet over' the chain due to its design, so it is ideally suited for D.I.D. chains! To be used for 5/8' chains only!When cutting a chain, we recommend planning the protruding heads of the rivet pins at the point to be opened in advance with an angle grinder; this relieves the cutting tool and reduces wear.
