The JT Twinstar sprockets are made of the combination of durable steel and lightweight aluminum.
The inner circle of the special aluminum alloy has about 11 times the strength of pure aluminum and thus almost reaches the strength of steel.
The chain itself runs on the steel sprocket. This results in the perfect combination of weight savings and longer running time.
In our experience, JT Twinstar sprockets last about three times longer than pure aluminum sprockets and are 50% lighter than steel sprockets.
