Elring gasket materials service kit / set

• Gasket materials in DIN A4 format (approx. 210 x 300 mm) in various thicknesses and materials

• Practical service kit for solving specific sealing problems in the "do-it-yourself" sector: for example on engines, transmissions, axles and auxiliary units

• Abil™ N: Based on NBR-bonded cellulose fibers. The gasket material is primarily used to seal against hot and cold oils, greases, fuels and cooling water with corrosion and antifreeze additives. Typical areas of application are control housings, gearboxes, valve covers, oil pans, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, chemical equipment, pumps and compressors. The maximum application temperature is 120 °C

• EWP 207: a sealing material based on NBR-bonded synthetic organic fibers. EWP 207 has good oil and fuel resistance. EWP 207 is mainly used for sealing against cold and hot oils, greases, fuels and cooling water with corrosion and antifreeze additives. Typical areas of application are oil pans, valve covers, gearboxes and housing covers. The maximum application temperature is 200 °C

• FW 522: Based on NBR-bonded aramid fibers with a sheet metal insert made of perforated sheet steel. The gasket material combines very good oil and fuel resistance with good pressure resistance. FW 522 is used for components that are subject to high temperatures, for example exhaust pipes and exhaust manifolds. The maximum application temperature is 250 °C

• 1 sheet (DIN A4) Abil™ N sealing paper, 1.00 mm thick (max. +120° C)

• 1 sheet of solid gasket material EWP 207, 0.75 mm thick (max. +200° C)

• 1 sheet of soft material metal gasket FW 522, 1.25 mm thick (max. +250° C)
