MICHELIN Bib Mousse

The puncture-proof alternative to the inner tube.

MICHELIN Bib Mousse is a foam rubber ring that replaces the tube and corresponds to an air pressure of approx. 0.9 bar when new.

MICHELIN Bib Mousse is specifically designed for off-road competition (cross, enduro or rally) and is exclusively inserted in MICHELIN tires. We advise against fitting MICHELIN Bib Mousse in tires of other makes.

MICHELIN Bib Mousse is NHS (Not for Highway Service) marked and therefore not designed for use on public roads. It must not be stored permanently at temperatures above 30°C and temperatures above 40°C should be avoided as a matter of principle.

MICHELIN Bib Mousse has a maximum service life of 6 months from the date of fitting and a maximum of 18 months from the date of manufacture. However, this can be greatly reduced in the case of very demanding use.

A tube of gel is supplied in the packaging. It is used to reduce the heating caused by friction between the tire and Bib Mousse.
