Loctite 222 Threadlock Low Strength for Motorcycles

Loctite® 222 Screw lock, low strength

Used to secure and seal threaded connections that must be easy to dismantle with normal hand tools.

The product cures in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents independent loosening and leaks caused by shock and vibration.

Particularly suitable for adjusting set screws or screws with small diameters or long threads (e.g. screws on maintenance holes, carburetor screws, etc.) that require easy disassembly without shearing off the screw.

Also well suited for use on metals that could break during disassembly (e.g. aluminum or brass).

Due to its thixotropic behavior, LOCTITE® 222 reduces migration of the liquid product after application to the component.
