The 3M™ Hookit™ Gold sanding disc 236U is a sanding disc for car body work and has an open coating of aluminum oxide abrasive grain and a C-paper backing.

It is used for coarse sanding, chamfering edges and shaping plastic filler and putty.

The special coating prevents clogging and the hole patterns (on certain variants) improve dust extraction.

This sanding disc is suitable for body work on materials such as fiberglass, body filler, metal, paint, plastic and putty and offers a sanding performance from coarse to medium.

Thanks to the open coating with aluminium oxide abrasive, it enables sharp, aggressive sanding while minimizing dust accumulation.

The design ensures effective dust extraction and prevents clogging, while the dirt-repellent coating improves cutting performance.

The disc is available in various sizes with a durable C-paper backing and is ideal for removing paint, chamfering and refining scratches.

Certain variants feature a multi-hole pattern for better dust removal and the Hookit™ attachment system ensures a secure and reusable hold on Velcro backing pads.
