EXA test book for exhaust extraction systems

Test obligation for suction devices:

According to Section 53 (2) of the Workplace Ordinance and the Accident Prevention Regulation VBG 1 - Section 39, exhaust gas extraction systems are subject to a special test.

After that, safety devices such as B. Extraction devices are serviced at regular intervals and their functionality checked.

The test must be carried out by an expert during the initial start-up and thereafter at appropriate intervals, but at least once a year, and include a determination of the amount of air extracted at the extraction point. Written records of the test are required (test book) - see also ZH 1/140 paragraph 6.
