Discover the versatility of ColorMatic 1K Filler Primer in a sleek black finish. Whether you need a primer or filler, this product adapts to your needs, allowing for variable application based on film thickness.
Designed for use on a wide range of surfaces including sheet steel, galvanized sheet steel, aluminum, old paint, polyester filler, wood, and various automotive plastics such as EPDM, PA, PU, ABS, PVC, EP, PP, UP, PC, and SAN.
This primer boasts excellent adhesion, corrosion protection, and filling power, ensuring a strong foundation for your topcoat. It can be overcoated with both water- and solvent-based paints as well as 1K and 2K topcoats.
Enjoy quick application with fast drying times and the added benefit of being weldable, making it ideal for spot repairs.
Application Instructions:
- Shake the can for at least 2 minutes.
- As a primer: Apply 1 coat for a thickness of 15µ (drying time at 20°C: 12-15 minutes).
- As a filler: Apply 2-3 coats for a thickness of 30-60µ (drying time at 20°C: 30-40 minutes).
- Flash-off time: 2-3 minutes.
- IR drying: 8-10 minutes.
