Counter pressure springs from Malossi for the converter on Yamaha T-Max 500 and T-Max 530 maxi-scooters.
Malossi strengthened counter torque pressure spring, perfect for tuned engines. Counter pressure springs place the drive belt under tension preventing slippage and providing increased drive. Ideal for tuned engines if slipping belts is an issue.
Unfortunately, Malossi does not give any indication of percentage change in relation to the OEM spring on Maxi scooters. However, Malossi indicates the spring stiffness (K) and the length of the spring. Thus, the springs can at least compare with each other. In principle applies to Maxiscooter:
1. green springs are softer than the OEM spring
2. all other springs are stiffer than the OEM spring
3. the higher the (K) value, the stiffer the spring
4. at the same (K) value, the longer spring is stiffer
