The VR-One engine housing has been developed for performance-oriented Vespa riders who are looking for maximum performance. It offers the same easy body mounting as the V-One and is equipped with optimized crank chamber fluid dynamics. The revised structure allows for improved cylinder positioning and comes with the same accessories as the V-One (except the mixer bolt).
The construction of the VR-One is designed for high load capacity and is equipped with robust ball bearings (flywheel side Ø25xØ52x15, drive side Ø25xØ62x12), which can cope with higher radial and axial loads than standard roller bearings. Suitable oil seals are also included.
Thanks to the increased resistance to loads on the crank mechanism, the VR-One is ideal for combination with our single-head MHR cylinders, in particular with item 3117163 (stroke 57) and kit 3117361 (stroke 60). For optimum performance, the housing is often used with the balanced Malossi crankshaft (stroke 60) and reed valve design, which are specially designed for the VR-One.
